The following is a test I have been a buyer of Hostess Twinkies and Cup Cakes all of my life. I am now 53 years old and I have type II diabetes (have had it for 10 years now). There has been a lot of press recently about the "epidemic" spread of type II diabetes nationwide. I would like to consume more twinkies and cup cakes but I cannot due to the diabetes.With the ever increasing instance of type Ii diabetes nationwide, would you ever consider making these products with Nutrasweet or aspartame or any other articial sweetner, much like the cola companies have done.
I am sure I am not alone. I know I would certainly purchase more of these products if they were made without real sugar, and I am sure countless millions of other diabetics would too.
Any response? What do you think?
