Comment: Phoenix depots are overflowing with product. So much that it can't ever be sold. When you plus every route $2000 on one day and still can't even come close to getting the product out, there's a big problem. Drivers are quitting daily. 15 hour days are common. Two months after laying drivers off (the week before Xmas), they can't cover the routes. Ads in the newspaper. I wonder how many new hires will last even one week under these conditions? Maybe they need to stop the constant mega-plusses and get the hours down to a reasonable level. Their attitude has been take it or leave it from the beginning, and now everyone is deciding to leave it.

Comment: Our Nation's President Bush must be on-line with IBC's management staff because he is in effect turning Amercia over to the Arab's by letting them run our sea ports while we are paying through the nose for his Homeland Security System! Maybe someone should perform a brain-scan on his head or his ass as the case may be! Turning next to America's airlines or the almost total lack of them who are not in our bankruptcy courts at the moment, it appears their Day of Doom is coming this Wednesday when Delta and Southwest's poker bet is called by their pilots, by going out on strike! If this happens to be the case in point, then our Supreme Court will tell us all if Slavery in America is still alive or not!

Comment: Everytime IBC lays off or closes down a plant without laying off their management-level personnel in substantial numbers, they end up poignantly poisoning themselves to death! You can liken their management style to that of an undertaker who can't tell who's dead and who's not! Management personnel by definition, is an expense item on the books!

Anon in Cinn - 700 more jobs from the upper Midwest PC? Are they going to close any plants do get these cuts or not? The 700 or more should be for all areas not just UPM PC. The word coming out of Kafoure's mouth is all levels of sales management will be affected on this one, Branches, Account Managers, Division Managers and Sales Managers, along with some areas located in the General Office and Westbrooke location. If I had to bet though - the ones in GO and Westbrooke will be low level cuts - can not see Mike cutting the good ole boy network even though the ones that need to go are these fools. For the plant reductions, there is still some talk about a few more closing, ie. St. Louis, due to its condition and the cost of bringing it up to code, or Akron due to the value of the land it sits on compared to the actual productoion/sales it generates. Good luck all of you.

IBC Announces Plan to Consolidate Depots, Delivery Routes and Retail Outlets in Its Upper Midwest Profit Center -------------------------------------------------- KANSAS CITY, Mo., Feb. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Interstate Bakeries Corp. (IBC) (OTC: IBCIQ) gave further details in a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court here today about its plans to consolidate routes, depots and retail outlets in its Upper Midwest Profit Center (PC), affecting approximately 230 employees in Indiana and Michigan. The company said that, subject to bankruptcy court approval, it expects to complete the consolidation of depots, routes and retail outlets by March 13. The company is still considering whether additional consolidations, restructurings or closures are warranted in the Upper Midwest PC and intends to announce in the near future what, if any, additional measures it will undertake. The preliminary estimate of charges to be incurred in connection with the consolidation in the Upper Midwest PC is approximately $0.7 million, including approximately $0.4 million of severance charges, approximately $0.1 million of asset impairment charges, and approximately $0.2 million in other charges. IBC further estimates that approximately $0.6 million of such costs will result in future cash expenditures. In addition, IBC estimates that the payment of approximately $0.3 million in capital expenditures and accrued expenses will be required to effect the consolidation. In response to significant increases in production costs -- primarily related to rising ingredient prices (such as flour and sugar) and continuing high energy costs -- throughout all regions, the company announced that it is reviewing the prospect of passing these increased costs along through strategic pricing actions. Any strategic pricing actions would be in addition to the company's efforts to reduce costs through the PC review and consolidation process. Increased production costs have had a significant negative effect on the company's operating margins in recent periods. Any strategic pricing actions, together with the cost control efforts mentioned above, would be designed to lessen the impact of the higher production costs on the company's operating margins. No assurance can be given that the company will be able to pass along any portion of the increased production costs through pricing actions or that such pricing actions will not have a negative effect on sales. Further, no assurance can be given that the PC review and consolidation process will be successful or aid the company's efforts to offset the increased production costs. As previously disclosed, IBC currently contributes to more than 40 multiemployer pension plans as required under various collective bargaining agreements, many of which are underfunded. The portion of a plan's under funding allocable to an employer deemed to be totally or partially withdrawing from the plan as the result of downsizing, job transfers or otherwise is referred to as "withdrawal liability." Certain of the plans have filed proofs of claim in IBC's bankruptcy case alleging that partial withdrawals have already occurred. IBC disputes these claims; however, there is a risk that the consolidation announced today could significantly increase the amount of the liability to IBC should a partial withdrawal from the multiemployer pension plans covering the Upper Midwest PC employees be found to have occurred. IBC is conducting the Upper Midwest PC consolidation in a manner that it believes will not constitute a total or partial withdrawal from the relevant multiemployer pension plans. Nevertheless, due to the complex nature of such a determination, no assurance can be given that withdrawal claims based upon IBC's prior action or resulting from this consolidation or future consolidations will not result in significant liabilities for IBC. Should a partial withdrawal be found to have occurred, the amount of any partial withdrawal liability arising from the underfunded multiemployer pension plans to which IBC contributes would likely be material and could adversely affect our financial condition and, as a general unsecured claim, any potential recovery to our constituencies. Interstate Bakeries Corporation filed for bankruptcy protection on September 22, 2004, citing liquidity issues resulting from declining sales, a high fixed-cost structure, excess industry capacity, rising employee healthcare and pension costs and higher costs for ingredients and energy. The company continues to operate its business in the ordinary course as a debtor-in-possession. About the Company Interstate Bakeries Corporation is one of the nation's largest wholesale bakers and distributors of fresh-baked bread and sweet goods, under various national brand names, including Wonder(R), Baker's Inn(R), Merita(R), Hostess(R) and Drake's(R). The company is headquartered in Kansas City. Cautionary Statement Regarding Forward-Looking State

Comment: To RAZZ- I can say my experience in Management with IBC was bitter sweet at best. Just when you thought everyone was on your side and things were running smooth, one of your team would throw you under the bus. Okay, call me naive or green to "the game" but nevertheless, it was a challenge trying to separate those who really cared and took pride in the job at hand and those who just wanted to pull you close only to cut your limbs out from below (union and management alike). The company I'm currently with (10 months) really has their game on. They allow me the flexibility to run my operation the way I want to and when there is a problem with subordinates, we gather as a unit and evaluate each situation and make a group decision. It's the kind of team I always wanted to be affiliated with. It doesn't bother me a bit that some didn't like me. I came to work every day and dedicated my being to the success of the company. I'm not bitter at the fact I made a small mistake, I have pitty on those who were involved with congering up a plan to de-rail me. The day will come............ In all honesty, I'm glad things turned out the way they did because they've allowed me more freedom and quality time with my family in 10 months than I had in 15 years at IBC. I hope the company does succeed. I know how it felt to be down and out and if the employees don't band together and stop being so negative, selfish, egotistical and just plain stupid, the inevitible will happen. The more you fight, bitch and complain, the less productive you will be. Be happy you are getting 7 hours (Sacramento). Be happy you still have benefits and a pension. Be happy your family still has a roof over their head and food in their stomachs. There is nothing in this world that is automatic and no one owes any of you a damn thing. You better start coming to work and perform for the same common goal or you won't make it. It sounds to me like people who knew how to make IBC tick are jumping boat which means you that are left need to work that much harder to keep afloat. Like the saying goes, "don't hate the player, hate the game." Hee Haww :-)~

Here we go again. Another change. 7 hour shifts no overtime, product not being run, trucks getting out late, product gets to the stores late. Possibly lose customers. Wheres the logic in that plan? We understand you want to save the company money in overtime expenses, but with this new plan someone will be getting the overtime. Isn't it less to pay a bakers union employee overtime than a teamster. Things were running pretty smooth up to the present time. Hey, these changes may look good on paper, but thats not reality. Get a grip and let us do our job. I myself and a few others would like to see Wonder Bread make it. So, don't fix whats not broken.

Comment: If the best things in our lives are indeed free, then why do we allow ourselves to pay for the ever less-desirable ones? The correct answer to this question lies in the fact that we are all limited by our physical being, state of mind and the cold reality of being earth-bound, whereupon multitudes of others like us, are forced to live as one! Not having the ability to elect selective hearing, sight or smell, we must deal with all these "human-like abilities" as they present themselves to us. The only "thing" that human's have, which can really be called "free" is their souls! And, it is these very "souls" that others on earth seek to own, to control and to influence, almost daily! If money is indeed the root of all evil, then how can one be saved from facing this monetary monster in their lives? True salvation and eternal peace of mind are built not of money, but of character!

Hurt and Oakley from the BC&TGM and Hoffa and Vople from the Teamsters all met this weekend with Tony and Mike about the future of the unions within IBC. As usual they have agreed to sell the soul of the rank & file. (Just like Tony expected, damm now I owe him a Dollar on our bet.) Basically, as long as the heads of the unions get what they want, (financially), they do not care about how it affects the rank & file morons (Hurt?s words not mine). After meeting with these low-lives?s I felt like I needed a shower. The goons, (sorry bodyguards), that accompanied these four individuals all dress like they belong in the Godfather. And we thought Sullivan, Elsesser and Yarick were crooks, compared to the MOB guys listed above, they are only petty thieves

Interstate Bakeries Corp. sustained a loss of $5,569,011 in the four-week period ended Jan. 7, compared with a loss of $10,119,904 in the four-week period ended Dec. 10, according to an 8-K filed Feb. 22 with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Sales in the four weeks ended Jan. 7 fell to a new low of $204,436,273, down 9% from $223,768,853 in the previous four-week period. Operating expenses finished at $117,400,882, down from $120,175,191 in the previous four-week period. Restructuring and reorganization expenses during the most recent period included charges for professional fees of approximately $2,804,000, key employee retention plan and restructuring bonus accruals of approximately $327,000, and employee relocation expense accruals of approximately $625,000. Those expenses were offset partially by gains resulting from the sale of properties of approximately $25,460,000. As of Jan. 7, IBC had not borrowed under its $200 million debtor-in-possession credit facility, which is subject to a borrowing base formula based on its level of eligible accounts receivable, inventory, certain real property and reserves. IBC said the credit facility was used to support the issuance of letters of credit primarily in support of the company?s insurance programs. Also as of Jan. 7, there were $90.2 million of letters of credit outstanding, which were partially collateralized by $69.2 million of restricted cash as shown on the monthly operating report. The amount of the credit facility available for borrowing was $78 million as of Jan. 7.

To bhbbc: I am going for an interview this week. I got a call Friday night , and he said that he saw my resume online this week. Usually, I brush these off , but I told the guy I was interested. 40K + company car, full benefits , and WEEKENDS off. I already checked their website out, and everything.I am trying to find a company , that I might have a future with. Obviously, there are better jobs out there.I have been in no hurry , since I am currently employed. Although, the time is drawing near for a move on my part. The writing is on the wall, and I figure that I have less than a year , to find another job. IBCing you later hopefully......

To Akron: The first few weeks of it is hell. You have cake piled all over your truck. You don't know what anything is, product codes, or what sells. Your first few weeks will be huge dallors. After a few weeks you will learn what days to order what and what days to not, your days will still longer but not as bad as it seems when you first start the restucture. The dollars will be there, and then some after all is said and done.

we are going to go through the the route restucture here in Akron. Cake lost 4 routes (had 14) and bread lost 5 routes (out of 14). How is this restructure working for other people ? All I want to do is is start running $7000. like I use to about 9 years ago. It's been all down hill since.

to Razz: we left of our own accord, but, we thought that our tenure would soon end, given the fact that we weren't liked too much by management. we guess we were a little too vocal about certain situations and conditions. so we went back to our old field. a very good company in the Chicago area that just inked a thirteen year deal with Intel Corp. we work Monday thru Friday, 6 am till 2:30 pm, overtime is OPTIONAL, and the pay, well, started off at 46K per year. we don't think we did too bad, considering. as we have said in the past, this company has a lot of good people both in management and in the rank and file. some managers would make awesome route men and some route men would make awesome managers. a lot of companies manage to figure this out and make some good moves. unfortunately, others don't. i.b.c. is one of these. some companies figure it out later on and manage to salvage something. others never figure it out. i.b.c. is one of these. by the same token, i.b.c. has too many worthless managers that wouldn't do a good job cleaning shit out of a toilet...

I always felt that, they were not truly doing their job, if they were not concerned, with the problems of the rank and file. The company likes to look , the other way , when it comes to many of the issues at hand. Anyways, you never told me if you left of your own accord, or were you run off?

Comment: When it comes to Hoffa and his union (Teamsters), one has to recall the history surrounding this "torture chamber" structured and maintained upon the sufferings of working-class people in America. The Teamsters is a place where people sell their souls and their families out for any number of reasons but mostly along those lines we all know as greed, graft and corruption of all kinds. Which their officers and collaborators use against the masses of labor to their own ends. In spite of their frequent use of our American symbols of freedom, which they constantly use to conceal their true identity from us mere mortals, they will always remain our (working class people) greatest enemy! Stealth and deception is what the Teamsters practice. Corruption and decadence is what they sow! Their harvest comes at too great a price for you and I to continue to bear. It's time to put the Teamsters Union to rest and to restore American Labor to it's rightful place.

although we are no longer with the company, we would like to say that we are in total agreement with Razz and Mike Ocker. in the N.C.P.C. things are run terribly. threats and intimidation are the order of business here. if the v.p. of the p.c. shows up, div. Mgr and branch Mgr alike are shitting in their boots. we once asked to speak to the VP of our p.c. and were told by our DM that he dosen't talk to us. this must have been true in his mind also as each time we saw him (dan angst) at the depot he would never so much as offer the greeting of the day. typical of management in this and many other companies, they consider themselves better than the rank and file, yet, the rank and file are the ones who sell the product that bings in the revenue that pays for everything. and we can't even have a sit down with the boss. go figure...

To : Razz I respect the fact that things can be pushed to way side within the company...and this is likely on a bakery to bakery basis throughout. The great thing about this site is that we have a chance to promote ideas about how the prosperity of our company can be achieved. As a business, we all realize that economic reductions are necessiatated, and are the basic structural boundaries that seperate the hourly employees opinions from that of the management's. It is much simpler for some, than others, to differentiate what is and is not management. The target is all too often at management. At what level is the question. The level of management seems to range vastly throughout this company, from region to region. What is considered to be management in the some areas, to us is an hourly employee. Same as I am. I don't understand the lack of input in positive ways though. I think we all need to start putting in positive ideas, as we seem to be the only ones who can. Let's save the jobs that we can! If the company is dead...please let me know, as I missed the e-mail! The amount of product handled by common carrier in a ton of areas has grown. How the hell is this helping matters? Slap the cost comparison information together as we are doing. It seems to slap a rosey front, to an ugly ass end. Are we the the only ones lacking the inabilty to see the inefficiencies? I guess if we all start to see the magnitude of what is wrong in this company, and allow it to conitinue, without speaking up...We should be wearing the "Dumbass" label, that we can so easily tag on the management of this company...without saying a word. C'mon people...To validate who I really am...Phone number is 253-444-1113 or 1115. Northwest P.C.and a lot of people throughout the country know this fact. Give it a call, and I will be more than happy to attest to this as well. Let's start working on the improvement, as we are what will continiue to drive this compnay in the right direction. Razz...Thank you for the response. You seem to have the voice of many...and seem to use it in the most adventageous manner to accomodate both parties. I repsect What you do, and your veiwpoints. Mike Ocker

To you know who I am and mike Ocker: You both bring up good points. Although, it does not matter , if we give 100% . All that matters to upper mgt. is to hammer out new contracts ,with wage and benefit reductions. Also, shut down as many bakeries as possible. Your bakery may be making a profit , and still be slated for closure. The employees , are going to continue to complain , until they see a new I.B.C. One thing is for sure , upper mgt. will never listen to suggestions from the common employee. How many times, have we had changes done in areas , and an employee will ask ... Why is this being done?? Do you ever get a REAL answer? I am talking pre - BK , but it has only progressively gotten worse since BK. Well, I expect to give 100% , but I only wish upper mgt. would do the same....

Comment: An IBC Parody in the making! It seems the court system in New Orleans is being forced to face down numerous problems including relocation of ther damaged court houses, loss of lawyers and support personnel, flooded evidence rooms and loss of funding revenue of which, 75% comes by way of traffic fines. The public defenders office, which had 42 lawyers, six investigators, ten alligators, six office workers and a $2.2 million annual budget before Katrina hit, is now down to six attorneys, one investigator , one office worker, no alligators and almost no money. Can you guess whom they will turn to when it comes to pay the bill for this state-created financial fiasco? That's right! It's going to be you and me, baby! The good old American taxpayers! The same ones' who never had input nor responsibility in preventing this disaster from ever taking place! Allowing Idiot's to control the helm of a ship loaded with fools is not our Nations' fault! It belongs solely to the state of Louisiana to resolve this shortcoming. When you know dam well that water will seek its' own level given half a chance, then you don't build homes for humans in these area's, period!

To: Mike Ocker Perhaps the demise of IBC was in part caused by most managers not having a degree. Lakewood?s managers are all good people but the lack of a college education showed in their people and business skills. With the good ol boy system having been in place for so long some managers did not belong in their position and perhaps an underling such as your self would have been a much better choice. Martin and Randy are respectable family men who gave 100% to IBC and the employees; they did not deserve the nasty comments. We should all be aware that anyone can post on this site in name someone else.

Almost forgot... To all the comical posts regarding the Mexico deal... As was also previously mentioned...you are clearly in the dark. The person who had responded earlier about the Mexican border crossing time...seems to be vastly more in tune with reality. The Canadian border can cause delays of such magnitude, that our drivers can't make it back... The 300 mile round trip event that it is! You don't even need a passport to get in to that country (Yet ). Believe it or not...even "Common Carriers" have the same D.O.T. regulations that we have to abide by. And they would be working a union job in most cases, like us, given the choice. So why not cut the crap...and stick to the reality of what can make this company what it used to be. We in the Northwest, have grown increasingly tired of the B.S. that could or couldn't be...This is Bakery number 2, that has closed for every remaining employee in this region...Be it Seattle, Portland or Spokane...My former bakery. Every last employee remaining transferred from one of these. Maybe that makes us morons...Or maybe we the employees in this company need to start making their voices heard. And maybe for once in a positive way.

To : Post about a third of the way down the page. The rumors are abundant that the bakery will be auctioned off around the middle of March. Whether there is any validity to this...who knows. From the remainder of rumors that are still in place, it appears that perhaps Maple Leaf Foods, based out of Canada, is the frontrunner. From what we have all heard, they are a union company, and the pay and benefits are up in the air. To all the Lakewood guys and gals...I wish you all the best of luck in pursuing new futures, in the same location we should have thrived. Hope this helps. To answer the seemingly never ending questions as to Martin Schuler's status...He is indeed no longer with the company, as has been mentioned. I for one, know Martin and his family will thrive in any future endeavors that they tackle. Don Dabner has assumed the principal role of Distribution Manager for the Northwest. As for the comments made much earlier, regarding he and Randy Timmons...There is no excuse for that. The lack of integrity by the person posting, makes me ashamed that I work for the same company as them. ( Assuming I Do ) The position of middle management, in any company, will always be a target. You however have to draw the line somewhere. Perhaps people are missing the fact that these people are now looking for jobs as well. The fact that these people have families and friends, have apparently been missed. I would personally like to thank both of the above mentioned individuals for the opportunites that made a reality. It's not that damn easy to get a high paying job, without a degree anymore...and it seems some have forgotten that. I wish you both the best. To Deb in Sac...If you are indeed departing the ways of Wonder...Good luck to you as well. To all of the anonymous postings in Sacramento. Give Joe and Dave a shot! The continuous trashing of personnel attempting to expand their abilities in any type of management position is getting tiresome. The whole thing is the same self defeating attitude that is driving the company further down. The fact is, the company can only succeed with the employees, and the employees can only succeed with a company. I know...sounds cheesy as hell! ( Job market is not as pretty as what some seem to paint here in the Northwest ) The facts are pretty simple though. People can continue to sit back and destroy each other online (Management or not ), and we will continue to spiral in the same downward direction as we seem to be going. Otherwise, speak the hell up, and state what needs to be done in the company to improve it. As employees, we don't seem to be heading in the right direction. Anyone have any thoughts?

The new breads they came out taste really bad, along with being about 4 or 5 mounths behind S.L. They upper management make really dumb calls. They should stick to what they know.

Considering the dollars involved might even be a few felony indictments. Not management names mid you, but rank-and-file grunts. Meds can cure many things... but in your case ignorance is forever.   Comment: Name: Engineering Location:Kansas City, MO Comment: St. Louis will be closed because to bring the plant up to proper codes is cost prohibitive. The big dogs are tired of putting money into a sink hole. Sorry to say but it has nothing to do with the production or sales factors - the plant keeps hitting the engineering hit list for closure and Tony and Mike are tired of seeing it and have told Hobbs to shutter the place. ---------------------------------------------------- Have to agree with you on this one.... That place was designed to be a WW II airplane factory that it originally was, not a bakery it is now. Due to its sheer size it HAS to be a money pit to the extreme. That is quite unfortunate as there were and are a number of good people that still work in the IBC system that cut their teeth in that plant only to move to other plants. Dave Herrmann, Dale Randant and Dave Williams were men I actually respected. Not sure if Mike Lustgarten is still there... and who could forget Calvin Smith ( now THERE is a fossil from the past..LOL). Dave H has moved on to form his own company, Dale R has heart problems now and is disabled, and Dave W I THINK is up at the Biddeford plant. Good people.. Hate to see it happen if St L closes, but could understand if it happened..

To Pete: Why would I identify myself? If you don't like what I have to say, don't read it and by all means don't follow any of my advice. I told everyone about the Florida closings early and about Lakewood closing. Was I correct--YES! Need I say more. Best of Luck living in your close-minded world. Just wait and see if I am right. I hear about the plans several times per week and I just report the facts to all of you. Believe them or Not. Either way, I sleep better know that you folks are told the honest truth. If you continue to put on those blinders, you will continue to live everyday knowing that IBC controls YOUR DESTINY. Pony up, be a man, make your own smart decisions. Quit being led astray by the political machine in place. Morale must be kept up for a while or the move to Mexico will fail and there will be no golden parachute for the fearless leaders of this company. Don't you want the lifetime medical, huge severence packages and nothing but the good life for these gentlemen and their families. If not, how selfish of you! Just think, you could be washing dishes at Ruth's Chris when they come in to dine on steak and lobster. What an honor that would be; to wash Tony Alvarez's plate. How DREAMY:) You will get an opportunity to do so soon enough. So hone you dishwashing skills. Remember, soap on, rinse off, hand-dry; no spots because Tony doesn't eat off of spotted plates and flatware. So everyone--all together now--FOR PETE'S SAKE listen up.

Comment: IBC may be a living Mad Hatters Tea Party but the people in the town of Lonoke, Arkansas really know how to party and how to work their city government over! It seems that their mayor, police chief and the police chief's wife have been checking out prisoners to do their bidding, their sex toys, their fellow dopers and their fellow burglars. Together, they also started making a business out of manufacturing crystal meth. If you find yourself having to do time, this has to be the place to do it, don't you agree!

Also the money we are giving them to sell you out, actually it was a lot less than what we were expecting to pay them basically you have been sold out for pennies on the dollar. DONE DEAL! THE UNION HAS SOLD YOU OUT FOLKS! No increases and higher insurance rate for everyone. Keep in mind, your jobs are going to Mexico in less than 12 months. EVERY ONE OF THEM! The boys are happy with their negotiation skills and your union bosses got a little love for agreeing to the concessions. It's a cruel world, but someone has to save their own butts. Those butts aren't your's though! STL and Emporia cake may be shifting as early as October to Mexico. Nonexistant tarriffs there. A pie will cost 6-cents to make there versus 15-20 cents(flavor difference) out of Emporia--before transportation. The Brass will receive very large sums of money for their efforts in selling off the company assets. Their packages include lifetime medical benefits, monthly retirement checks and moneies in excess of $1MM dollars--on the low end! That's right--For those of you making $15/hr that translates to 32.05 yrs of work BEFORE TAXES! These guys will get it for doing nothing more than negotiating away your future. Mosy of you will never make $1MM in your entire working careers. It's good to know that at the very least, Alvarez, Kafoure, Morgan and the henchmen will be living the high-life.. At your expense. Good Luck.

Here's what class sounds like.......you spoke badly of the people who are out there working, not the people who did not pay the bills, not to mention, instead of addressing a logical question from me you turned coarse and personal. Feel like you are big and strong now, MR!!! -------------------------------------------------- My "supplies" dont go in YOUR bread, as you have absolutely NO CLUE what I have supplied the company... What's your point?? A little dip-sh*t market such as NLR is actually MAKING IBC money?? I dont think so!!! Flowers and SL are profitable because they have a distribution plan that makes sense and gets fresh prodct to the marketplace with LOWER OVERHEAD. The fact remains that both SL and FBC are PROFITABLE and your company is headed on a straight line to Chapter 7 and losing money daily. So your hubby drove to NLR.... big deal!! Is Memphis profitable??? NO! He can drive until the heavens break loose, but as long as there are good-for-nothings in the Memphis plant sitting on their keisters who put out CRAP product that is usually damn close to stale when it hits the shelves, his efforts will be for naught. Of course you didnt read the original part of my posting that stated that there WERE good people at IBC, yet their voices were being drowned out by the malcontents here on this site. Hey, nothing like letting the facts get in the way of a misinformed scree... right?? Dont even talk to me about class as your "company" is infested by crooks, malcontents and people with liitle or no ethics--- and sister.. that is from the BOTTOM UP.. not the TOP DOWN. As for Martin from Wash. he's not coming. As for Dave Eagan, none of use here know whats up either. All I can say is he better take it slow and get the real picture of whats going on in Sac. A good word of advice for him or anyone in that spot, is to stay away from the guys that are afraid everyone is out to get them. Those guys are like an infection in your mouth, they should be spit out.

You are not from LA and Sac is NOT in shambles. Only problem is a couple shippers think they can run managers they do not like out. They need to realize that if they lose their job = Rainbo won't hire them and the only other is 11.00/ hr , no benefits at Mary Anne's. Baker's Reps should spend their time organizing that place instead of WASTING their time (time expenced by Bakers Dues) defending worthless people that get fired because they don't come to work! As far as our shipping manager record in Sac: "Good help is hard to find" and I guess NONE of them was able to hang. Shippers beware! They might just find one now that won't put up with the dramatics. The new Ops Manager is no fool, so there is first step. Good Bakers: You know who you are and keep the faith and ignore the losers that make up the rumors. Bad Bakers: You Did Not run Deb out. She is going into Bigger and Better things. All you Deb haters WILL all go DOWN sooner or later, one way or another. Examples: Scott A. & Robert H. (ex- haters/ ex- employees) Also, the comment about Costco Joe: Go to Costco and tell him to his face your comments. Costco Joe is "oldschool" I'm sure he would meet you outside somewhere and teach you a thing or two.

Besides, I visit the BK lawyer's site and if you download the court documents, you see where the invoices are being transferred for payment, unless they were found to be duplicate claims or something. There was this Glenn guy, John, Benny. Then Scott A., can't spell his last name, then Rudy and then Joe, Deb and now some guy from Iowa. WTF?? Scott was by far the best, Rudy was okay, Debbi, I think she was the assistant, was no help. I hear she is leaving and now everything is in shambles. I talked to Dave(Iowa) and can't tell if he is a temp fix or permanent. I know one thing for sure, things haven't been smooth running in a year or so. I'm glad I'm in Socal. In a Wednesday filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Kansas City-based maker of Wonder Bread and Twinkies (Pink Sheets: IBCIQ) reported a loss of $5.6 million for the period, compared with a loss of $9.7 million for the four weeks that ended Dec. 10. Gross income for the period that ended Jan. 7 was $204.4 million, down 9 percent from $223.8 million the prior four weeks. Yes IBC has a cake plant in Memphis, but the damn thing is about to fall down on its foundations due to YEARS of neglect. James Johnson has one helluva time keeping the place clean and you damn well better not park your car within a mile of the place or it will get stolen right off company property... Crow all you want to about your so-called warriors.... your management is trying to screw us suppliers AGAIN by insisting we take your WORTHLESS credit as opposed to your P-cards. I guess its much harder to perpetrate fraud against Mastercard than it is to screw us out of tens of millions of dollars.

Where were Flowers and Sara Lee other than North Little Rock??? Probably servicing markets they ACTUALLY COVER. Nearest SL plant to NLR is Owensboro KY and the nearest Flowers BREAD plant is Fort Smith.I would think they would have a bit more common sense than to be out driving in an ice storm... If these clowns are such warriors... why is their company in bankruptcy for almost 2 YEARS running, and they have lost over 45 MILLION dollars since Nov 05???   Comment: Seeing the posts below regarding Flowers buying ANYTHING IBC owns only serves to illustrate the total IGNORANCE of the clown that posted the so-called "information". If anyone in their right mind thinks that Flowers, which is a staunchly NON-UNION company ,would be so idiotic as to buy a totally dysfunctional leviathon such as IBC or any part of IBC, they SERIOUSLY need to have their head examined. The day such a purchase would happen would be the same day that I sell all 5000+ shares I own of Flowers stock, as it would only be a VERY short period of time before the rank-and-file WHINERS that infest this site ran the company right straight in the ground. Don't get me wrong. There are actually SOME folk here that actually give a damn about IBC, yet those voices of reason are constantly drowned out by the waves of brainless DOLTS who only seem to be here to say something just to see their lips flap in the breeze. Think about it. Why would Flowers do such a STUPID thing when they can just simply wait for IBC to self-destruct from within, then swoop in and pick up the pieces. Same goes for Sara Lee and Grupo Bimbo. For whatever the whining is for.... remember it is YOU that is ultimately responsible for the quality of the product (of lack thereof) that goes on to store shelves. Sh*t goes on the shelves because you ALLOW IT TO. It has NOTHING to do with mangagement and EVERYTHING to do with how you do your job. It's the old "garbage in = garbage out" idiom. Start giving a damn about what you do, and get rid off the slackers who dont give a sh*t about anything but their weekly paycheck and you will thrive as a company. Until that day happens, you will remain in the death spiral your company is in and there will be little you can do to save your collective a**es.

FROM THE BAKERY PIPELINE (Bakery Production & Marketing Newsletter, February 17, 2006) by Josh Sosland It would hardly be news to observe the steady erosion in the place held by regional baking companies within the industry. For decades, the acquisition of smaller baking companies has been a staple in the strategic diet of the nation?s largest multi-plant chains. Still, it was difficult not to feel a twinge of discomfort recently in reaction to news that Butter-Krust Baking Co. and Derst Baking Co. would be acquired by Sara Lee and Flowers Foods, respectively. Both of the acquired companies and their family executives long have been fixtures in baking. Still, the specific deals were hardly surprising. Sara Lee has stated it is anxious to accelerate its geographic expansion. The Northeast represents the company?s largest geographic hole, and Butter-Krust clearly was an appealing candidate to begin filling-in. Similarly, Flowers has said it needs additional capacity to keep up with demand, and the acquisition of Derst, an independent southern baking company, is consistent with Flowers? historic pattern of growing, often one plant at a time. With the increasing emergence of powerful brands on the bread aisle and the continuing effects of retailer consolidation, it?s likely these transactions won?t be the last. While several vibrant independent bakers continue to operate, perhaps the strongest influence slowing down the acquisition of independents is that so few such companies remain to be acquired. Flowers is in the final stages of acquiring Interstate Brands Bakery in Henderson Nv. and Las Angeles bakery deal should be completed by Apr.1,2006. This last sentence is fake,it was added on there. By the way dumbass, It's Los Angeles, not las, you moron!

Comment: Alvarez and his clowns are sucking off what life is left, while their day to day IBCdrama show plays out. One could say it's a case of what's missing here that really foretell's their bottom line. Dumbing down the workforce is what he hopes to accomplish first. Then the downsizing will be played out to the end where those remaining subjects will face their maker and eventual demise. Alvarez fails to display the talents and the simplest leadership traits necessary to lead this company anywhere but into BK hell. The fact that he has ears but not the abiliy to hear with them will become ever more revealing in the coming months of pure dread ahead.

Whole grains defined in guidelines FDA seeks to help consumers, but questions remain ---- By Kristen Gerencher, MarketWatch Last Update: 8:06 PM ET Feb 20, 2006 FDA is loking into "Whole Grain Labeling" and two of the three companies invovled are bankrupt - IBC & American Italian Pasta Company - both based in Kansas City and both are being currenlty ran by Alvarez & Marsal. Does the FDA really want these two firms involved since they have a track record of lieing to the public and investors.

Some top idiot even stated out load that maybe the room is bugged - Kafoure almost had this idiot for breakfast. They all know it is a person close to the information they just do not have any clues on who it really is - but they are looking. If the idiots in HR (D Whitesel or H Richards) would wake up and actually talk with the people who have already left our pc, then you would see what an idiot smith really is. I have talked with several employees, supervisors and management personnel who have left the SCPC and every one of them stated their reason was Charlie Smith. They even told me that during their Exit Interviews that Dan Whitesel would not allow them to state that fact because he would not put in the final copy of the interview. One of our managers said he knew that the hotline was called several times on smith but since the division and general offices just turned their backs on the truth this person could no longer work for this company, which is very sad for this person who had alomst 2 decades with IBC. The person has moved on in their life and has not even looked back, except to warn a few close friends to watch their backs and to get out before their world comes crashing down. I personally am taking the advice and looking several offers pending just trying to find the perfect fit for me and my family. As my freind put it - Several of the past & current Exec's should be lined up and shot for what they have done to this fine company and to the hard working people who made it that way. - You all know who you are someday we will have our justice.

Smith is so arrogant that he actually hopes this Mexico thing is real - he has already stated that he thinks he will be the one they choose to run the plant, based on the fact that our PC is making money and get the grunts to do the work. Will someone please check what this idiot is doing to OUR PC (yes charlie I said our PC - not your pc - you little weasle) and get rid of this crook. Oh Charlie - we see the crap you are running through the accounts for quote "Customer Relatons" - B.S. none of this is for the customers - it is either diverted to your office/home of your way of rewarding the a$$ kissers for bending over for you.

The moron who proclaimed the move to Mexico was a done deal is indicative of the treasonous and greedy attitude of educated idiots in charge of corporate america. Henry Ford had it right, and treated his workers well and was rewarded. But these guys today who think busting unions and destroying AMERICAN families is somehow a good thing will have it all come down on them. If a typical american family is only making 20-30 grand a year, who in the hell is going to buy the houses and cars and 3 bucks a loaf of bread?...time to rise up people...trust me on this. good luck to all...

To who ever asked about taking a job in Springfield, here's your answer. If you want to work for a Company that could close the doors at anytime, then join the plant. The only thing that has kept that bakery open so far is the Baker's Inn. Our Plant Manager runs both Springfield and Tulsa and he is spending more and more time here and is looking for a new home here. So what does that tell you - stay where you are at if you can stand it or look for another job somewhere else. Just in case routes sales is no safer - CSmith who is the VP of our Profit Center does not like either of the two Sales Managers (Godwin, Sprinfield or Sample, Tulsa), so if it is up to Smith they will be gone and there is no telling what you will have then. Best of Luck to ya brother

It's over folks... STL is closing soon. The rest of IBC will be methodically shuttered. All operations moving south of the border. They will freeze product for WalMart for their overwrap program. They will make most of the private label for them too... Staying with IBC is the most insane thing a person could do. The Big Boys are heading to Mexico on the Alvarez coporate jet on weekends. This is so there will be no questions asked of them. This is factual as I have first-hand knowledge of the entire process. The shift has been discussed behind closed doors at the BK hearings and has the approval of the legal system. Overhead flight survey done on Emporia Bakery this weekend for Goodyear. Plane refueled at Emporia Municipal around 1:30pm Saturday.. Check the records out there. Fleet will be cut down by 45% to begin with and then another 10% the following year. ABSOLUTELY NO UNION WILL BE RETAINED! Per Alvarez and the Boys. What will this do to the Emporia economy? STL can handle the shutdown, but Emporia--NO! If you own a home in Emporia and want to sell it, DO IT NOW! There will be a glut like never before when the bakery shuts down. Thanks to everyone for your hard work. I am resigning in two weeks, so that will be my final suprise to these guys. Better get out while th getting is good. Best wishes all... I'm getting a jump on the job market NOW!

This Mexico connection explains alot to all of us in Jax, now we understand why the new PC Manaufacturing Director - J Grauel is never here. And the real reason behind his trips to Mexico and all of these expense reports - he was telling everyone they were trying to expand the markets. We can see how he would be a choice to run it - he is already married to a mexican wetback - how in the hell he landed the hottie we can not explain - he is just one fat pig but he does throw around money like it is water. Nice cars, fancy clothes do not hide the fact that he is still just a fat and a pig who needs a tan. Talk about one pale whiteboy. Hey Johnny we would tell you hit the beach - but we are afraid someone would try to roll you back in the ocean thinking you were a beached whale.

St. Louis the walk thru was to serve as the final straw, Tony wanted to see the plant before he authorized it to be shut down. Why do you think Randy Wiebler took the PC Job - it was not for the money as much just to have a job. He was told back in October to take the job by Rich Hobbs and John Grauel or Randy would be out of job then. 60 day warn notices being typed up now. Problem is some people do not want to give the notices (CSmith/DWhitesel), they would rather pay you off and close the bakery within 24 hours. Reason is that these two are afraid of the problems you would create in production during the 60 day period. Also if they do this way no one could file work comp claims. You have been warned. No more bread or cake in St. Louis. Property is being sold will be used for buses .

Can Wonder Bread Rise Again? Turnaround artists Bryan Marsal and Tony Alvarez aim to fix Interstate Bakeries Dressed in a rumpled shirt and working on three hours of sleep, Antonio C. "Tony" Alvarez II is in overdrive. On Sept. 22, he was appointed CEO of bankrupt Interstate Bakeries Corp. (IBC ), famous for such iconic brands as Wonder bread and Twinkies. Since then, Alvarez, 56 -- who is co-chief executive of one of the country's biggest turnaround firms, Alvarez & Marsal LLC -- has been at Interstate's Kansas City (Mo.) headquarters, parsing financial statements and pep-talking workers in a bid to save the company. ADVERTISEMENT Back in A&M's Manhattan headquarters, his partner, Bryan P. Marsal, is resting. He's fresh off a stint as chief restructuring officer at HealthSouth Corp. (HLSH.PK ), the embattled Birmingham (Ala.)-based rehabilitation hospital chain that nearly sank into Chapter 11 last year after former CEO Richard M. Scrushy allegedly inflated earnings by $2.7 billion. (Scrushy is contesting the charges.) Marsal, 53, spent 15 months rebuilding HealthSouth. He slashed 250 jobs. Then he sold assets such as Doctors Hospital in Coral Gables, Fla. -- not to mention 10 planes and one helicopter from Scrushy's fleet -- helping to pay down $3.3 billion in debt. As a result, HealthSouth is expected to generate $650 million in cash this year. Alvarez intends to work the same magic on Interstate as his partner did on HealthSouth. "We come to companies at their worst moments in life, and we save them," says Alvarez. Cocky and intense, Alvarez and Marsal have become Corporate America's favorite repairmen. The tag team's 21-year-old firm has helped salvage dozens of sinking companies, from watchmaker Timex Corp. to drugstore chain Phar-Mor Inc. Their recipe, they say, is simple: Relentlessly cut costs, hoard cash, and constantly communicate the minutest of financial details and restructuring plans to creditors, so as to avoid any backlash. Most important, they make quick and decisive decisions to resolve problems that company executives might waffle over for months -- a brash approach that has sometimes gotten them into trouble. UNAPPETIZING RECIPE Interstate could be one of A&M's biggest challenges. The nation's largest wholesale bakery refused to cut its overhead and therefore was unable to offer bargain-basement prices that would have allowed it to push more aggressively into mass-market channels such as Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (WMT ). It also botched a plan to reformulate its Hostess cupcakes and Ding Dongs so that they would have a longer shelf life. They turned out doughy and unappetizing. By his first day on the job, Alvarez had helped persuade J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. (JPM ) to pony up $200 million in new financing to keep Interstate's ovens running. Interstate filed for bankruptcy protection the same day, weighed down in part by $600 million in debt. Now Alvarez is planning to slash labor and production costs, while boosting distribution to Wal-Mart and other discount retailers. The markets are confident so far: $100 million of Interstate bonds issued in August are still worth 85 cents on the dollar -- solid, for a distressed company. "We like the approach he is taking," says Leo Benatar, a former chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and Interstate director. "It isn't just total liquidation." While Alvarez and Marsal have won plaudits from corporate boards, they also have stirred up controversy. Competitors, especially, allege that A&M is prone to self-dealing, pointing to examples such as a deal with Enron Corp.'s accounting firm, Arthur Andersen. While Marsal was dismantling Andersen, A&M hired six of its former turnaround specialists. Although the new hires weren't involved in the Enron scandal, critics slammed A&M for helping itself to the assets of a bankrupt client, putting A&M's interests ahead of those of creditors and shareholders. Marsal contends that A&M bought out the employees' contracts with the blessing of Andersen's board. PLAYING TOUGH It wasn't the first time the partners were accused of being greedy. In 1996, Marsal crafted a plan for Vestar Capital Partners, a New York investment firm, to buy bankrupt apparel maker Bidermann Industries USA Inc. without a public auction. Under the deal, Marsal, already Bidermann's CEO, would have kept the top job for three years, and A&M would have received an equity stake. The court disapproved. "Mr. Marsal has abandoned the debtors' interest in order to advance his own personal wealth," wrote Tina L. Bozman, chief judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of New York. The slap led Alvarez and Marsal to institute a rule barring the firm from investing in client companies or funds that might seek to buy those companies. Still, A&M can play tough with clients and their creditors. Marsal and HealthSouth execs sued Michael J. Embler, a distressed debt investor with Franklin Mutual Advisers LLC,

Comment: It's been reported that in or about October 2005, Business News published a rather blunt report (Can Wonder Bread Rise Again?) about Alavarez and his clowns double dealing for themselves and just plain coverups with other BK companies who they royally ripped off then departed for greener pastures! Don't expect to be treated any better IBC! They are simply incapable of telling the truth about anything and will steal the gold out of your teeth, given half a chance! IBC stood a better chance of survival had they shot themselves in the heart first before hiring these clowns to save them!

IBC is going to use their trucks to distribution centers. Then the rest will be sent through contract carriers. The deal is to send all of IBC's current workers packing very quickly. This will save the company the hassle of lawsuits. Crossing the border is very advantageous to IBC. Cheaper labor #1, NO UNIONS, No worker's comp, no benefits. Just churn and burn the cake and bread for less than 50% of what it currently costs. They are arranging to send their best current Plant Managers as this is no small undertaking. People taking the transfers will make double what they currently make (Management positions). IBC will be offering intensive Spanish speaking classes to those in the know. Some will push it off saying they are taking "college courses". Untrue though---they are learning Spanish to lead the Mexicans. How's about those apples folks! Our team here in Kansas City is hoping there is no strike called as it would greatly disrupt our plans in Mexico. We just have to make it another 11 months and the closures will start. Thanks for vote of confidence in us here in Kansas City! All of you will certainly get what you deserve:)

Great ! Hillary Clinton just got more ammo against the Republicans for the next election. Taking jobs away from Americans. The Republicans can counter with Condoleeza Rice/ Kay Bailey Hutchinson. a Clinton/ Clinton ticket with Hillary leading the way. She is not taking a back seat to anyone. P.S. Maybe I.B.C.'s products will taste as bad as Bimbo/Bairds , that is shipped across the U.S. Their product line went downhill when they started shipping it all from mehico.

To answer your question on Rocky Mount, Just a few reasons why the supervisors are all quiting, They have no had a raise in three years, This is all thanks to Rory Whittle. The hours are getting longer and longer. Just about all the maintenance mechanics have left, The plant is falling apart due to nobody to fix the machines when they go down. All that down time just creates long hours for the people and supervisors. Why should we stay when we can go to another job with less hours and get a thank you every now and then.

To: You Know Who--are those lyrics from 8-Mile? Sorry, never realized you were Eminem's twin. You are right though, we will all be gone within the next year. We were offered bonuses to stay on for the next 12 months while they get the equipment ready to mbe set up in Mexico. IBC is moving there operations across the border. Because of NAFTA, workers comp, the unions, and COG's. IBC is setting up shop just across the border in Nueva Laredo. There has been an aire of concern because of the violence over there, but supposedly they have built security fences and have installed the latest/greatest security system. They figure their break-even in production over there is if diesel stays under $5.50/gallon. They will have an enormous fleet covering most of the US. Any area they cannot drive to withing 24 hrs. will be cut from IBC's territory. Emporia, STL, Tulsa, etc... ALL PLANTS will be closed by December of 2007. Emporia is scheduled to be shutter by January of next year. They are in talks with Goodyear to sell the property and have it converted into a tire manufacturing facility.. GOOD LUCK FOLKS! By the way--no severance per the judge on the Emporia closure.. Sorry gentlemen in kC but the word is out now...

I got laid off from Merita in July 2005. I was with the company for almost 7 years. I used to come to this site to get information on how Merita and IBC was doing in general. Now all that is on this site is just of bullcrap from people working for IBC just trash talking each other with out any concern for how Mr. Alverez is running IBC further in the ground. Makes me glad that I went to work for Flowers. I may be a Independent Distributor, but I at least work for a company that is making money instead of steady losing it. The new line of Wonder bread looks like it might be worthwhile if it was fresh when it came in instead of 'hard". Can't you guys try to pull together to help save the company instead of "running it into the ground" with your negativity?

THAN WHY IS IT COMBO ROUTES ARE RUNNING ABOUT $8000 TO $10000 A WEEK, A LOSS FROM ANYWHERE FROM $3000 TO $5000, WHEN YOU HAD TWO ROUTESALESMAN DELIVERING IN THE SAME AREA. I KNOW COMBO ROUTES ARE HERE TO STAY, IN FACT I SEE IN THE FUTURE CAKE ON BREAD TRUCKS, OR MAYBE EVEN DROP-SHIPMENT OR INDEPENDENT DISTRIBUTORS. THE ONLY ONE,WHO THINKS IT MADE OUT IS IBC, BECAUSE OF ONE LESS ROUTEMAN, BUT LOOK AT WHAT IBC HAS LOSS IN SALES EACH WEEK. MAYBE ONE LAZY DRIVER IS BETTER THAN TWO.

YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE COMPETITION,BUT YOU'VE GOT TO GET YOUR PRODUCT SEEN, ITS A IMPULSE ITEM (specially cake items). BUT SINCE IBC HAS GONE COMBINATION, MAYBE DRIVER DOESN'T HAVE THE TIME OR DESIRE , PUSHES ONE LINE OF PRODUCT MORE THAN THE OTHER, OR IS JUST COMPETITING AGAINST HIMSELF.

We have heard how Mrs. Barids has hit your markets strong. For all you idiots out there - Mrs. Barids is owned by Bimbo and they are overtaking all of your markets with cheap bread.

dear union buster , as you stated Bimbo is doing 90% of thier production in mexico!! if this is true then do you believe that the american people will reach out with open arms to food__ !! that is produced outside the the US ?? as soon as america sees that the the supposed #1 bread in the US is baked out side it's borders and they are paying $4.00 a loaf for somthing that may be a threat to thier health by a foreign goverenment will sit on thier hands and say uhmm!! this is bread perfected?or will they say - it's time we got back to reality?? if we we continue to discount american company's and forget what we are all about then we shall reap what we sow look around - health care is being cut ,pensions are dead , the so called third world is overcoming us wake up !! we must support American companies but at the same time we have to confront the the excess of corporate executives and the the so called board of directors who give them the outragious compensation that they get for doing nothing !! AMERICA is in trouble !! wake up fuckers ! read the news and look around you!!!!!

However; shitheads like you will continue to ride my coattailsuntil the company is sold.(what ya gonna do then bigman?) Do you think your boss will put in a good word for you? I think not. Your ass will be out the door, but the union man will stay on.Dont worry though;you send your family to the east coast and T Soprano will get your wife a job at one of my clubs. Your probably the typical mngr. who puts his work before family and ends up divorced. But hey ; at least you do quality work......slurp,slurp.

Let me guess T Soprano - you are one many that the union is always protecting. Your response is that of a typical union puke - do you even know what the meaning of the phrase is - a honest days work for a honest days pay - probably not. Just so you know I kiss noones a$$ - my work speaks for iteself as QUALITY product always does. Now go cry to the union bosses and file the grievance on we have mis-treated you and made you feel small. This way you will get more time off and more money that you never did any work to earn it. Damm I really wish we could bust all of the unions and fire idiots like T Soprano (by way get a life and stop trying to live through the TV - reality you are not in the Mob or you would be dead already they do not put up with pukes either.)

Does everyone want to know what is truly wrong with IBC just read the below posts from all of these Union Pukes. If IBC was to finally ride itself of these morons, then we would be able to compete in the open market and we would be the number 1 baker again. We are not on a level playing field with our competitors - they have no unions to deal with because they have outsourced the function - Independent Distributros. Bimbo got around the union on the inside by taking 90% of the production to Mexico. Maybe we should do the same and eliminate all of the Union Pukes. Only way to compete in today's market is to be fully non-union where we can reward the honest and hard work of those employees who care and fire the lazy and dishonest ones, without worrying about the damm unions screaming.

He was hanging on to Hawkins shirt tails and you see where he is now, or should I say where he's not now. How many more bread accounts is IBC going to lose in Cincy before you think their going to make a change. Pricing is important but so is followup.

Six of the seven have been apprehended. Bin Sleepin, Bin Loafin, Bin Goofin, Bin Lunchin, Bin Drinkin and Bin Butt-Kissin have all been taken into custody. At this time, no one fitting the description of the seventh cell member, Bin Working, has been found. We are confident that anyone who looks like he?s Bin Working will be very easy to spot. You are obviously not a suspect at this time. So keep on doing what you Bin Doin! UNCLASSIFED
