Was at a meeting on Monday in Kansas City. One of the main topics brought up was the soon selling of the Hostess Cake in the Cincy area. This would include London-Louisville-Lexington and Beckley. We were told that by mid Feb. that the George Weston Co. would be taking over this area with our products.

I met with a union rep after they were force to redo our contract in Chicago last week. Yes butternut is in hhe process of being sold & some Dolly cake items will be dropped shipped to the larger stores. Yes all union contracts where forced to be redone across the contry. Every persons pay will be affected.(union or non union) All union contracts are for 5 years and will be do at the samw time. If your local hasn't called you in for a meeting to vote on a contract it will be soon. One more thing if you vote to reject the contract you will be shut done by the bankrupcy judge. This is straight from our union rep. P.S. some jobs will be lost in this process but very few.

Sac transport Drivers: You are the first to complain when something or someone is not treating you fairly, so if you want FAIR why don't you be fair and put in an HONEST days work. Don't forget this company is in bankruptcy.

I ran the Tulare driver and Fresno driver down, stopped for a break at the usual place, unloaded, loaded equipment, swapped, stopped for a half hour lunch, took a break in modesto and came back in. Just because i didn't take 12 hours a day,don't tell me I burned up your run. Furthermore, what about the new guy on the Fresno run. Are you going to give him shit too? He even did Gettys and got back in good time. Also, the other new guy went down on friday-saturday and he went to Athens, took an extra half hour on the way back and still got back by 9:30 am. .......So, if Dumb Ass Truck Driver is one of the guys on that run, maybe you better shut up and do the run the way it is supposed be done........Now, if you have more to say about what I do use your real name, don't be a milking chicken.

Ralph Woll passed away recently and his funeral is at Bonney-Watson 16445 Pacific Highway S, Seatac, WA 98188 (206) 242-1787. He retired a few years back from the Lakewood facility

Since I will be leaving soon and there is nothing they can do to me now. Yes the St. Louis office is being closed, we will maintain a skelaton crew to handle the cash receipts and TComm issues but all others are gone. Between Weibler, Yust and Smith they have killed this plant and destroyed our sales. Ralph tried to help Beck and Kern, but Smith was cutting their legs out from under them all. Smith has sabatoged this sales areas. To be honest Smith even worked to sabatoge the production facility, by killing capital improvement projects and then telling us all it was denied in GO. Well I have friends in GO and they told me the truth - Smith would tell Kafoure to kill the project because he thought it was not needed. Good Bye St. Louis I will miss you but I will not miss IBC.

This public traded co has to have financials available. Look at the cash flow. Using previous obligations debt to keep the balance sheet looking low but the cash flow is saying otherwise. Get smart. Co. is still making money just doesn't want the rest of working employees to see it.

Case in point: Red-flagged Interstate Bakeries (IBCIQ: news, chart, profile) , which closed Monday at $9.80 -- almost back to the $10.30 when the stock was first mentioned here on its way to the low single digits as the company filed for bankruptcy. What's behind the rise? Here's a quick read from my original source, who at the time was short Interstate: "They put in a strong quarter for the month of May, looks like $13 million EBITDA or $156 million annualized. Still, their liabilities are at least $750 million; I don't think we'll really know what the final number is because of the union wild card and pension issues. Anyway, as I recall, they have about 45 million shares outstanding, so the stock at $10 implies $450 million equity value plus $750 million of liabilities and gets you $1.2 billion of enterprise value. Divide that by $156 million EBITDA and you're at a 7.7x multiple. That's probably a fair multiple for the company given its turnaround status and apparent progress made by Alvarez & Co. (which was brought in to restructure the company) and, man, does it show how dreadful prior management was. By way of contrast, Flowers Foods (FLO: news, chart, profile) , major competitor, trades at almost 10-times 2005 EBITDA and 9-times next year. But does one month during bankruptcy make a year?" Dunno. Still, it's being shifted to yellow flag from red on the Watch List.

I know that the only people , that I ever pissed off was upper mgt. , because I was always one step ahead, and spoke my mind freely , without worrying about losing my job. Someone in HR once told me that my rise through the ranks was swift. I responded that my fall was just as fast. I got a funny response out of that comment. Just use common sense in the business world , and you can really do just about anything within the company. Question everything and anything. I did when I was in route sales and in mgt. Unfortunately, that does not go over well sometimes. It taught me a valuable lesson , in standing up for what is right . I am glad I got to leave on my terms.
